JAMES BOND was almost played by Clint Eastwood after Sean Connery left the role after feuding with producers, but the Western star declined. In the end, George Lazenby and then Roger Moore bagged the role, but the Dirty Harry legend has no regrets over missing out on 007 for a very specific reason.
