Bohemian Rhapsody originally had James Bond star as Freddie Mercury in ‘different’ story

BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY’s original director Dexter Fletcher, who ended up finishing the Queen biopic after Bryan Singer was fired, has spoken of a very “different” script with Rami Malek’s James Bond co-star playing Freddie Mercury – in a version of the film that was abandoned.
