JOHN DEACON’s birthday has been marked by Brian May and Roger Taylor 25 years after the Queen bassist left the band following Freddie Mercury’s death. Having retired from the music industry he now lives a quiet life in southwest London, but still maintains an active business relationship with the group he hasn’t seen in person for decades.
