Sometimes, the UFC and the fans need a break from the hectic fight schedule, and with the holiday season upon us, that break is an extended one.

The UFC’s last event was UFC on ESPN 73 in Las Vegas. Flyweight contender Manel Kape quickly handled business against former title challenger Brandon Royval to make his case for a title shot against Joshua Van.

No, the UFC is not hosting an event on Dec. 20, 2025. This marks the start of the promotion’s holiday break; the next event will not occur until Jan. 24, 2026, with the first of back-to-back numbered events.
