Thursday's NBA trade deadline was one of the more wild ones in recent memory, with a flurry of notable moves being made right before the clock hit 3 p.m. Just ask my colleague Alex Myers, who missed at least three trades while stepping out to get lunch. To borrow/alter a phrase from Ferris Bueller, if you didn't stop and refresh Adrian Wojnarowski's Twitter feed every few minutes, you just might miss it literally missed everything. One poor, diehard Utah Jazz fan fell in that category, missing the entire NBA trade deadline while under anesthesia during surgery. Upon waking up, he was made aware that the Jazz had sent guard Rodney Hood to the Cleveland Cavaliers, receiving Jae Crowder and Derrick Rose in exchange.
