The day I came face to face with the Hillside Strangler serial killer

I met Kenneth Bianchi – one half of the notorious Hillside Stranglers – three times. The first time I interviewed him up close and personal in a small room at the Washington State Penitentiary. I met him again while he was tramping through the snow to the exercise yard. And the last time I met Bianchi was when I unexpectedly called upon him without making a prior appointment at his home on the Special Housing Unit .
