Dementia expert tells ministers ‘put money where your mouth is’

THE boss of the UK’s flagship dementia research institute has criticised ministers for failing to come up with promised funding. World-renowned Alzheimer’s expert Professor Bart De Strooper said scientists stood ready to deliver breakthroughs but the “field is hugely underfunded”.
