ELVIS PRESLEY and Priscilla Presley had a loving relationship, but it was sometimes strained. The King lost his temper during a play fight during the early 1960s, resulting in the young bride-to-be earning a “swollen black and blue eye”. Later, Elvis berated the youngster on her behaviour, saying he had to “show her who was boss”.
