ISA savings: Average saving levels ‘NOT ENOUGH’ to pay for even ONE YEAR of care

THE average savings levels in an Individual Savings Account are not enough to stretch out for even one year of residential care in later life, according to new research. Current savings level are far too modest to even “scratch the surface” of paying for care when you need it most – with the average ISA only covering 39 weeks of residential care in the UK.
