JOHN LENNON managed to prevent Paul McCartney from making a massive change to one of The Beatles’ biggest and best songs. The singer wanted to switch up some of the track’s most memorable lyrics, but Lennon wouldn’t allow it. McCartney later confessed he “knew” he was right.
