JOHN WAYNE had a real issue with Kirk Douglas’ Spartacus, which is on ITV4 today, and publically condemned the movie. The Hollywood legends still ended up starring opposite each other in The War Wagon a few years later. However, Duke was left fuming when he found out the reason his co-star was late to set one day was for a politically-motivated reason.
