Metallica ‘begged’ Kurt Cobain to join tour but Nirvana star despised Guns N’ Roses

METALLICA’s Kirk Hammett has revealed that he pleaded with Kurt Cobain to have Nirvana support the heavy metal band’s joint stadium tour with Guns N’ Roses, but the late star ‘just wasn’t having it” as he detested the band and especially Axl Rose.
