Muse at Manchester’s AO Arena review – rock and excess, the band at their playful best

When you’ve got a back catalogue like Muse, it spells for a strong setlist. And from the word go it was clear Matt Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme and Dominic Howard – plus new recruit Dan Lancaster on the synth and keys – weren’t messing around when it came to the hits.
