James Bond’s title role has a vacancy now that Daniel Craig has bowed out as 007 in No Time To Die. Yet amid calls of casting the first ever female incarnation of Ian Fleming’s spy, Timothy Dalton’s The Living Daylights Bond girl Maryam d’Abo has joined other classic stars of the franchise and 007 producer Barbara Broccoli in defiant resistance against such a notion.
