Outlander books were almost ‘cancelled’ by publisher before first release – here’s why

OUTLANDER readers have enjoyed watching author Diana Gabaldon’s story and characters continue to grow and develop over the years – but they almost didn’t get an introduction into her books at all. During an interview in 2017 the author explained her contract was almost cancelled back before the first book was released.
