Pound euro exchange rate: GBP/EUR eases, a no-deal Brexit is now a ‘very real prospect’

The pound euro exchange rate dipped by -0.3 percent this morning, leaving the pairing fluctuating around €1.110. Brexit fears have continued to haunt UK markets this morning, following comments from the former Environment Secretary Michael Gove, who said on Sunday that the Government was now working on the assumption of a no-deal Brexit in October.
