The pound euro exchange rate rose by 0.5 percent today, with the pairing currently trading around €1.197 as the Eurozone’s fragile economic outlook continues to weigh on the single currency. Today saw Germany’s final growth report for the fourth quarter confirm estimates at 0 percent.
