Pound US dollar exchange rate: GBP/USD spikes over 2 cents on Brexit no-deal mania

This morning, the pound rose against the US dollar before slipping slightly, and the pairing is currently trading at around $ 1.327. This comes after GBP/USD spiked over 2¢ last night following the parliamentary Brexit vote on no-deal. Yesterday evening the House of Commons voted to reject a no-deal under any circumstances by a margin of 43.
