A Frenchwoman who is taking legal action against Ryder Cup organisers after she was left blind in one eye after being hit by a golf ball has told how fellow fans took photographs and videos of her immediately after she was struck, rather than come to her aid. Corine Remande, 49, was struck in the face last Friday by a stray tee-shot from American player Brooks Koepka. The incident took place on the sixth hole of Le Golf National near Paris, which staged Europe’s 17 ½ – 10 ½ victory last weekend, when Koepka hit his shot right of the green.
