Sky TV axes Sky One after 39 years, but adds two new channels for you to get excited about

SKY ONE has vanished from television screens almost 40 years after it began broadcasting in the UK. However, don’t despair as the satellite firm has lined-up two worthy replacements in the form of Sky Max and Sky Showcase, which are available from today on Sky Q, Sky+ HD, Virgin Media, and NOW platforms.
