The Stranglers’ Dark Matters: King of the keys bows out on a high

IT might not be the greatest comeback since Lazarus, but this is by far the finest album the Guildford band have released for decades. It’s almost as if the death last year of veteran keyboardist Dave Greenfield has inspired The Stranglers to hit fresh heights.
