Tom Cruise was rejected by Lewis Hamilton for Top Gun Maverick – ‘Upsetting’

TOM CRUISE brought Top Gun into the 21st Century earlier this year with a long-awaited sequel – but he also tried to cast F1 star Lewis Hamilton as one of the film’s protagonists. He was turned down in what the racer called “the most upsetting call he’s had”.
