ELVIS PRESLEY made a triumphant comeback to live performing in 1969 after many years of staving away from touring. After the performance, the star’s manager, Colonel Tom Parker, was extraordinarily emotional. Priscilla Presley called the “touching moment” between the two men “astounding”.
