Brian May held back tears in an extensive tribute video to “my major inspiration” Jeff Beck, who died on Tuesday at 78. The Queen legend called one of the late star’s songs “possibly the most beautiful piece of guitar music ever recorded.” He admitted to being totally in “jaw-dropping awe” of his hero, who had grown up in the same area that he had.
