Ringo Starr celebrates 60th anniversary as The Beatles drummer after Pete Best was fired

SIR RINGO STARR has marked the 60th anniversary of when he joined The Beatles as their drummer in their first performance as the final lineup of the Fab Four. He had replaced a fired Pete Best, who had refused to perform a last gig with the band two nights previously.
